Certificate of Minimum Standards Project Team
Voluntary Action is seeking to recruit the following staff under a short-term contract until March 2011:
Full-time Quality Standards Project Leader
£33, 509 p/a inclusive of Outer London Weighting
Key responsibilities for this post are:
- Development of Certificate of Minimum Standards (CMS) in Waltham Forest (WF), in liaison with Local Authority
- Development of Resources for CMS delivery
- Training and Support to Organisations seeking CMS accreditation
- Line management of two CMS development officers & 5 (voluntary) ‘buddies’
- Development of CMS as a foundation for quality marks
- Project reporting to Voluntary Action Waltham Forest management, and Local Authority

Part-time (21 hrs p/week) Early Years Quality Standards Development Officer
Key responsibilities for this post are:
- Support Early Years PVI organisations to attain CMS accreditation
- Support Early Years settings to improve Ofsted ratings
- Raise profile and publicise the benefits of the CMS within Waltham Forest
- Generic responsibilities
Part-time (21 hrs p/week) Children and Young People Quality Standards Development Officer
Key responsibilities for this post are:
- Support PVI organisations to attain CMS accreditation
- Support capacity-building and the sharing of best practice in PVI organisations delivering services to Children and Young People
- Raise profile and publicise the benefits of the CMS within Waltham Forest
- Generic responsibilities
The salary for each of the above positions is
£29,604 pro-rata.
