Jack Petchey Foundation - Funding Opportunity
The Jack Petchey Foundation has allocated £1,089,000 to develop
Summer Uni programmes in all the London boroughs. Summer Uni programmes
will offer a broad range of activities during the summer months for 11
~ 19 year olds.
Each London borough can apply for a grant of £33,000
to develop their Summer University programme if certain conditions are
met. This is a joint initiative between London Challenge, local authorities
and the Jack Petchey Foundation.

The Legacy Trust has will support a wide range of innovative
cultural and sporting activities for all, which celebrate the London
2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and which will leave a lasting legacy
in communities throughout the United Kingdom.
The Big Lottery Fund, the Arts Council and the Department for Culture,
Media and Sport have endowed Legacy Trust UK with £40m.
Grants will be made under the following three broad themes:
- Sport & Wellbeing
- Knowledge & Learning
- Arts & Culture
These themes are intended to inspire the widest possible range of projects
in which the maximum number of people across the UK can get involved.
Projects are likely to encompass:
community sport | healthy living | wellbeing | education | learning
and personal development | heritage | the performing arts | creativity
