All change online

Just a little advance warning that it's going to be all change over the next few months on our website. We are shifting from one website provider to another, and unfortunatley, there will be a gap!

So some time soon, we will reduce our website to a core of information, advice, news and downloads. The micro-sites will dissapear - to re-appear in a couple of months in a fresh new format. No actual services will be affected, and there will still be loads of update with news and fundraising opportunities.

Waltham Forest Local Involvement Network Official Launch Event.

We are sure you have heard about the WF LINk; VAWF have been acting as the host organisation since September, and lots of hard work has already gone into it. If you are involved in health and social care, you are probably involved.

Now WF LINk is ready for a proper launch, and they are planning a large event on Wednesday 8th April 2009 at Walthamstow Library, High Street, Walthamstow, E17 7JN

Fundraising Support

If you have ever used our fundraining and bid writing support service, you will know how hard Mutmahim Roaf (Funding Advice Officer) works; well he's having a well earned break, and will be away during April. Barbara will be picking up all fundraising questions, so please direct your questions accordingly.

Best wishes Mutmahim.

Consultations and Surveys
NAVCA has commissioned Sheffield Hallam University to undertake an independent evaluation of the Local Commissioning and Procurement Unit (LCPU)'s work programme.

You are invited to help with our evaluation by completing this short online survey at: www.navca.org.uk/shulcpu

The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete, and by sharing your views and experiences you will help us establish the baseline for measuring progress towards the LCPU outcomes, such as building increased confidence, knowledge and skills in providing commissioning and procurement related support to local groups and organisations. This will ultimately help us to improve the guidance, information and support that we provide.

It is important that we receive as wide a selection of views as possible, so please do take a few minutes to share your thoughts even if you have not, or do not intend to use LCPU’s services and resources.

The closing date for the survey is Thursday 9 April
