Stay Safe Project - launch in Leyton on 8 June

Stay Safe is about the rights of disabled people: instead of seeing themselves as "vulnerable "victims, they are citizens who deserve access to the same rights and protections as everyone else.

Stay Safe will inform disabled people of their rights, and offer a supportive and accessible environment for reporting abuse and bullying and for getting justice. Stay Safe will also work with other agencies, such as the police, the Council and housing providers or community groups, to help ensure that disabled people receive an equal service and get justice.

Stay Safe will be launched at the Score Complex in Leyton on 8 June, 3-7pm. If you would like to attend or have questions about this event please call the Stay Safe Team on 07587 134 122 or 020 8509 0910.
