CIEH Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering

The knowledge you will receive from this course will ensure that you fully understand the health
and safety implications in food hygiene and prevent cases of food poising and legal litigation

Introduction to Certificate of Minimum Standards Workshop

people organisations and is unique to Waltham Forest. Come along to this introduction day and we will explain to you the benefits for your organistion to work through the CMS.
The Tendering and Commissioning Process
ACCREDITED BY NOCN
28th September, 5th & 12th October (3 days)
£85 members, £120 other not-for-profit organisations
As preparations for a new round of commissioning take shape, it is essential that voluntary and community groups prepare for the processes.
This course will give you a better understanding of what tendering and commissioning is, and how you can take advantage of it.
Completion of this course adds to getting the ‘Certificate in Managing Voluntary and Community Organisations’.
Introduction to PQASSO
Wednesday 29 September, 10am-1.30pm
Free to VAWF’s members, £15 to other non for profit organisations
The local CMS can be used as a foundation for acquiring a nationally recognised quality mark such as PQASSO. Funders increasingly seek quality marks as evidence for their grant allocation and commissioning decisions.

Voluntary Action is committed to developing the skills of its members, through our Workforce Development and learning programmes.
Anyone attending non-accredited training courses will receive, upon request, a certificate of attendance.
Why Accredited Training?
Completing accredited training will give you a pathway to go on to complete full qualifications. Having fully qualified members of staff will increase your prospects of success with funding applications as funding bodies are looking more favourably at organisations with qualified staff.
